Only buy from reputable sellers, NEVER buy a property with a quitclaim deed, and make sure you do your due diligence to make sure the property really has everything you need. Some sellers tend to 'lie' by omission. They may not tell you about the fact that there is no legal access to your property or that everything gets flooded anytime it rains. It is up to you to make sure you perform your due diligence.

    People want their own land. The problem is, land prices are always rising, and buying cheap land seems to be getting harder and harder. Part of the problem is that many land sales companies don't sell their own land. They are actually just acting as a third party, and part of the price is just paying their fee to market it.The solution is simple. Buy from the owners! Skip the middle man and save yourself hundreds, probably even thousands of your hard earned dollars.
