For all of you who are looking for that perfect venue in South Florida, it is important that you let the venue speak to you. For the modern bride, venues like the W Hotel chains or the Gansevoort may fit your style. For the traditional bride, the Ritz Carlton chains, Fisher Island Club or The Breakers may be a perfect fit.

Many people often ask me about the qualities they should look for in a floral designer. There are some basic requirements that your wedding florist should meet, qualities that I personally believe are the reason why Ocean Flowers does so much business as a wedding florist in Miami.

As a wedding photographer in South Florida I have personally photographed thousands of weddings and if there one thing I have learned it’s that the wedding photography timeline plays a huge role in my ability to create creative photojournalistic color and black and white wedding images.

At first glimpse, infrared wedding photography looks similar to traditional black and white wedding photography. Upon closer inspection, though, infrared’s unusual tonality is recognized and often appreciated.

These are just some of the fascinating customs that occur during a Jewish wedding. There are many others, but each wedding is different and often the number and type of customs included depend on the religious level of the bride and groom.

Originally from the New York/New Jersey area, I then moved to Los Angeles where I stayed for about 20 years, followed by a move back east to South Florida, I must say I enjoy photographing weddings wherever they might take me even if they are in my own state!

As a South Florida wedding photographer, photojournalism has become a big buzz work for photographers - especially wedding photographers. When brides come in and start asking about wedding photojournalism, I must say that I sometimes cringe inside. Don’t get me wrong, I love wedding photojournalism.

There’s no doubt that as a South Florida wedding venue, Vizcaya is one of the grandest and most picturesque sites. A big thank you to Jenny and Eric for having me there to photograph their special day at this amazing location.

Looking beautiful in your wedding dress is not just a matter of perfect hair and make-up application or even in the gown you select for yourself. Much of how you actually look in your wedding photographs is due to the skill and creativity of your wedding photographer.

I traveled to Washington D.C. in April to photograph their amazing wedding at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Robin came along to assist, as the wedding included 280 guests! This was a true destination wedding for us and we were really looking forward to it.

This was the wedding of Sam von Trapp and Elisa Sepulveda. Sam’s family owns and operates the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont. Elisa was raised in Chile and her stepfather is the owner of a magnificent ski resort in Portillo. This is actually where she met Sam, who was a ski instructor at the resort at the time.

Though they may appear stodgy by today’s standards, these old photos are an amazing testament of family history that we should treasure and look forward to passing down to the future generations.

As a Miami wedding photographer, I recently had the pleasure of photographing Cara and Brad’s picture perfect wedding at the Palms in Miami Beach. This was a destination wedding for both Cara and Brad who live in Pennsylvania, as well as for most of their guests. Cara did an amazing job planning her destination wedding in Miami Beach - she was really on top of things!

Without a doubt, Villa Woodbine is one of the most intimate and beautiful locations for a Miami wedding. Michele and Gabriel’s wedding was no exception.

Selecting the perfect wedding photographer can be a very tough job. With thousands of photographers out there claiming they are up to the task it is very easy to get confused and be unsure of the best way to go about selecting the right one. As a highly experienced South Florida wedding photographer, I know first hand the nuances and necessities of wedding photography and the pitfalls brides could fall into if not careful when selecting a photographer for their wedding day.
